help brake booster vacuum
my brakes randomly go all the way to the floor
some times i can let off then push the pedal again and its fine sometimes it takes a few tries but when i hold the brake it causes the engine what sounds like maping but its not maping like up down up down, so i think i got the vacuum hose to the brake booster messed up it is a y8 mani and head in my eg, the hose is connected to the brass fitting(in yellow) in pic please help its scary to lose brakes

like the guy above said, check around for any leaks of fluid. does your master cylinder look topped up still?
if your idle is hunting around, you may have a vacuum leak somewhere. spray brake cleaner around while it's hunting (spray onto the intake manifold area). your brake booster could also be toast if you're loosing pressure badly.
