Default looking for some rsx side mount turbo manifold pictures, and undercut or not

I have somebody local that is wanting a price on a sidemount setup for his rsx, so far all I have found is fullrace and peakboost. I can have the car so making something fit should not be real bad. But having ideas never hurt. So if anybody has any feel free to post them up.

Also while searching I found this thread on here
https://honda-tech.com/zero...93155
Is the manifold in the pictures finished? Are all there manifolds like that? I have never heard or read anything bad about them.

Thanks
Randy

I can only assume that all are like this.

that peakboost manifold is EXTREMELY undercut. That was done with a pulser and a single pass with NO filler rod.

The other manifold was also done with a pulse...but ISN'T undercut...the bead just isn't as consistent as some would like. I think it looks great.

no offence but if you think that is acceptable just because most ppl can't tig weld or make manifolds, then sir your retarded.

undercut is not a good thing to have in a manifold as it is just asking to break.

Full-race manifold setup is a million percent better as far as the downpipe/exhaust housing location is concerned and the location of the brake master cylinder.

Don't you guys think that those pics were shot after the first pass? Any one who can weld that consistently and cleanly is going to be aware that there is another pass or two left to finish those off.

to each is own is def right here on honda-tech.com. I believe both manifolds have decent designs but the peakboost is def nicer by far. Their manifold actually stayed in the bevelled area not overflowing onto the base material. Not sure who makes the manifold above where the welds were circled but it looks like there was too much gap, moving way too fast, just adding too much filer. This was my old rsx header i built over a year ago...

obviously since then ive gotten much better. I think people do have a right to point out things they see cuz they're the ones payin for it but to each his own like you said.

If there was going to be another pass or two done, it would have been done before the runners were all welded to the flange and collector. That's a finished product i'm sure.

Ryan are you welding your manifolds in a single pass?

That's a nice manifold, but will that fit in a RSX?
