i know this goes in the teg forum and i did put it there but i figure more ppl look in the civic so i wanted to post here too so hopefully someone can help.. well here goes. ok i purchased a db8 integra off of a buddy for $1600 with a very good running gsr and started to go to work fixing everything on it. i took the wheels off to discover it has aftermarket full coilovers but they are different from side to side. the drivers side has a blue strut which im thinking are tokico hp MAYBE with a skunk2 coilover and spring on it. the passenger side has a white one with the adjuster on the top (maybe tokico illumina) with a tokico coilover and spring. the spring on the drivers side is a lot shorter than the one on the passenger side so i have the coilovers set different but the car is even. it was cambered extremely bad so i purchased the skunk2 pro series camber kit for the front. i installed them and have them set all the way out and its still camber bad if not worse on the drivers side. the passenger side however is almost perfect. i took the car down the road and the steering is ridiculous!! if you let go of the wheel you are in the ditch pulling to the drivers side. im stumped as to why my steering is so off and my camber is still so bad. could something in the suspension be bent?? or could i have a blown strut? or could it having different suspension on each side be causing this? ANY help will be greatly appreciated! if anyone needs more info just ask ill be looking at this thread often. thanks again for any help.

 

Do yourself a favour and purchase a correct suspension setup for the car. What you're doing now is dangerous.

 

i agree with you very much so after driving it that it is extremely dangerous. do you feel this is my camber problem and steering problem?
