Magnaflow exhaust
Hello,
Currently my 93 Integra has stock exhaust on it, and I've been looking into Magnaflow exhaust. I called several different muffler shops, one said they would charge 235 to install the muffler with a custom made catback. Other shops say they will charge 125 for just the muffler installation. I was told that the Integra has 2.25 inch pipe from the cat back already, and that it is redundant to buy the entire get the whole cat back system. Is the new catback system worth it, or should I just go with the muffler?
Thanks

Well, 235 for an entire catback, most likely aluminzed steel is a good price. Integras dont have 2.25" stock though. I think the 2nd gens are 1.89 or close to it. If youre not planning a major build for the motor, than 2.25" is what most guys upgrade to when they do their exhausts. Youd be better off going to the shop that quoted you 235 for the complete catback. You wont notice anything other than sound from just the muffler. Word from the learn-ed, magnaflows on most hondas with full exhaust/ header combos are fairly loud. They do have a nice deep tone, just a LOT of it.
