maintenance light stays on
Alright first specs of car
Car:
1998 Honda
Accord 4dr lx
engine 4cyl f23a1
trans 4 speed auto
Recent workd (most recent to older):
replaced drivers side cv axle (drained and refilled trans fluid) [2 weeks ago]
New Brake pads [2 months ago]
Rebuilt transmission (was done by a shop) [4 months ago]
Problem:
at first the maintenance started blinking a couple times when i turned the car on. Now the light is on as soon as i start the car and stays on until i shut the car off.
I also noticed that there was a very slight burning smell when i accelerated (the smell happened only once, and for the first time today), and the car feels like theres a loss of power.
Suspects:
trans fluid misfill?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Main't light reset;
Press and hold the reset button on the cluster, then turn on the ignition switch.
Then, right about the time you have a permanent dent in your finger from holding the reset button the light will Finally blink twice and go off.

It should stay off for another 7,500 miles, it's just a maintenance reminder, not like a Check Engine Light (CEL).
