I have a 2003 4door accord lx 4cyl and theres so odor coming under the backseat. I want to take the backseats off to see wassup. Can someone point me to the right direction and is it hard to do? I don't need to take the entire thing off JUST the right side.

any help is appreciated.

 

Not sure how the '03 model is set up, but I imagine that it's not changed too much since '97, as far as the mounting system. You'll have to remove the seat backs first. Start by folding them down and looking on the sides or back at the very bottom where the pivot point is at. There should be some screws holding them onto the brackets. Remove those, then the seat backs should come out. Afterwards, look behind the lower seat cusion, and you will see another bolt holding down a bracket that extends to the seat itself. Remove that, and pull from the rear of the cusion, up and towards you. There will probably be two metal loops holding onto the front edge of the seat, that are stuck through holes in the chassis, but just work with it and it will come out.

where the seat and back meet, spread your crack [LOL ] and look for a 10mm bolt that holds a tab. Remove that bolt and you should be able to fold the seat cushion up and foward.
