truck bedding coating for ebay pedals
i guess this applies to all swiss cheese aluminum pedal covers ebay or not ebay. I have been owning a set of these pedals and i notice that when the sole of my shoes are wet, these pedals seems to be very slippery. I had the idea of spraying them with truck bedding coating (splatter paint) to give it a vinyl polymer texture to enhance it's grip. the color will be black obviously, but that's not a concern since i want it to look kind of stock anyways. has anyone have experience using these spray? dupli-color sells one, but i don't know how long they will hold up before they rub off.

i did grip tape on my tc for 3 years no issues and did it on my crx to for 6 months no issues just through out the stock plastic covers for the clutch and brake and grip tape on them then grip tape over the stock plastic gas pedal
grip tape ftw

5 years? Most stock grip doesnt even last that long, especially if your problem is with wet feet... It will stick no problem, but the grip will probably wear down after a couple of years. Id say just use some grip tape, or if you dont want that, you could probably use some rubber rocker guard, that stuff will come out grippy, but it might not look so great. Rocker guard will last longer than grip tape.

^ you make a valid point i must say.
never heard of line-x. will look it up online later tonight.
i want the stock look, but i want a longer gas pedal. i did put pedals on my car and i can heel toe a lot better. i find it very hard to do it in a scion TC ( which i am installing the pedals in btw) because the pedal is shorter then the brake.

i looked up this stuff and it seems that they only do it professionally, not from a rattle can. i do not want to pay someone to spray pedals. however, this seems like the best route to go and is one of the most recommended on the truck and jeep forums.
