the trans shifts like crap and now im getting po740

which is tcc malfunctioning

torque converter circuit malfunctioning

so what do you think i need? car has 300k on it yes 300k we bought it new in 97 my dad used it to get him through law school and still owns it as a lawer and he wants me to fix it just becuase i pulled a few swaps in the civic!

 

Pull the lock up solenoid off, clean the screen and test it, with power on the wire lead and the body of the solenoid grounded you should hear a good 'click'.
If the screen is full of stuff that looks like wet cardboard it means the TC is coming apart.
