Seriously hands down the raceheader. I had the 4-2-1 and it really did nothing. I just installed the same raceheader and it just pulls like crazy, you will definitly notice a gain. Example: My previous setup CAI/4-2-1/ K-pro I did 194 on a mobile dyno, and another guy I've talked to did 195 CAI/ RH? no tuning. But then again comparing two different dynos on two different days is useless becase it will vary the results, but you get the point. Go with the Raceheader, you won't be dissapointed. On a normal in house dyno that reads much lower than a mobile dyno, I made 199Whp with CAI/RH/K-pro on a hot humid day. When Vtec hits it just slams you in your seat and pulls straight to redline. Plus it makes the car sound way pissed off. Lol.

adding to what dc5teg20 said the racing header eliminates both cats that are in the way and moves the o2 sensors done to the lower end of the header ... i dont think that 4 - 2 - 1 has places to put your o2 sensors nor does it get ride of the cat both cats...

you may need some extra hardware for installing it though

Race Header the sound the power the look... you arent going to find a better header for the price.

you could spend $750 on the buddy club header, but with the A3 the DCRH will do great.

well those price tags are a little too much for me, I just wanted something that doesnt cost too much and that would make somewhat of a difference

I have a brand new stainless steel shorty header for sale if you are interested...just a quick bolt on. Keep in mind, if you get the race header, you'll need motor mount inserts as well, or you'll easily crack the flex pipe.

I dont have the money yet but I'll keep it in mind and I know this is going to sound stupid but what are motor mount inserts and where can I get some and read about them?

the inserts are a cheap efficient way of keeping the motor more solid
reduces wheelhop, helps prevent raceheader and exsisting motor mount from any damage
they're about 25 bucks and you can get them at clubrsx.com or wotm.com

those are correct
imo
you won't need a torque damper kit
if you want the best quality
i would completely upgrade to enjos or innovatives
perferably innovatives because of the price
those offer one of the best form of engine mounts with minimal vibration for the price
but they run about 270 and up

also, with the esmm
be aware that you will feel vibration in the cabin

some people dont mind it, others can stand it
good luck

Your car will really vibrate if you have the AC on...

True, I was pretty impressed on some of the numbers I saw out of the DC "race" header...

pretty much what he said
you'll feel it mostly in the 700-900 rpms (idle) and when you disengage the clutch
it helps a lot what you raise your idle to 1100 but k-pro is required

its doesn't bother some but others can't stand it
