got the transmission apart yesterday and i couldnt believe i was able to shift. Im missing half of the ***** in the inputshaft bearing(correct me if im wrong on bearing). How did that not destroy my tranny when the fell out? Anyways whats remaining of them is now stuck to the magnet as u can see.

 

Technically, you didn't lose any of the bearings. What got lost is the piece that separates the ***** and keeps them spaced around the race.

It's not an uncommon sight in honda transmissions.
