I happened to be checking some fuses under the dash, when I came across a wire with a spade connection at the end and after searching for a few seconds located the other connector! plugged them together and the cooling fan came on! Unplugged it and off it went!

Q? why would someone do this?
Q? how do I fix this so that the cooling fans only come on when they are supposed to?
