hes like want me to notch the syncroids or something... making it a smoother faster shift so you can race better.. something, im not getting it done..

then he asked if i wanted him to grind off the flywheel to lighten it..

haha ok i know you can buy a light weight flywheel but grinding off the OEM one thats coming on the tranny i got..? doesnt sound healthy.. but i might be mistaken..

Notching the syncroids.. he says hel removed each nipple looking thing, the tranny will then never grind, and it wont take as much effort to put it in gear..

Lies??? or truth

you can do it. but dont take too much material off or you weaken the flywheel and have it rebalanced afterwards.

 

I would find a different shop to do the work. What you're stating here would lead me to question his knowledge, his ethics, or both.
