Default bad gas mileage

only mods:
-skunk2 intake manifold
-ITR throttle body
-AEM short ram intake
-dc 4-2-1 header
-chipped ecu (o2/knock sensor removed)

Why am i only getting 50 miles on less then half a tank keeping my rpms below 3500? My car would have better gas mileage with my exhaust/test pipe

I know most of you are going to say it's my ecu.

im gonna go ahead and bet that the chipped ecu is messing it up.

You really dont have enough mosd to even need it, due to the fact the o2 sensor is disabled it could be messing things up, but thats just my opinion.

o god why are you running that tire size? if you just needed something cheap because of money issues than i completely understand lol i had to run 185/60/15s because i got them for $10 each and i needed them at the spot. yea it sucked horribly.

im going to say its your chipped ecu also. your supporting mods just arent enough to justify needing one yet.

with that setup i'd think that you are running lean with all that airflow and not having an O2 sensor will mess with the ecu and make the injectors squirt more fuel??? my 2cents. i'm a noob, don't trust me yet.

exactly what other said...what else are u using to monitor fuel? the o2 sensor is a BIG contributor. the o2 reads engine condition out of the exhaust..if it reads high oxygen it suspects lean mixture and therefore tell the ECU to throw more fuel to correct it...and vice versa for rich mixture. knock sensor can also effect timing, which could effect it also.
