Default 93 si hatch LSVTEC, debating going turbo!

ok heres the deal, i have an ls vtec hatch B18B1/B18C1.
Since the build i have had it for over 6months and just started running into problems. minor problems like my TPS is is screwed up. my chipped p28 is bad.

So i kinda want to take my car off the road for a while and rebuild the motor COMPLETLY from TOP to BOTTOM...
IM a big fan of BOOST and ive seen many ls/vtec hit 500whp easily with a good setup and tune.

so i just want your opinions on what to do like staying N/A or go turbo.

If i go turbo, im gonna piece my own kit together.

i just dont want to run into to many problems going turbo. i dont mind a few but not major where my car will be a money pit.

so let me know what you think. im kinda leaning towards a turbo build.

You live in Florida, do what you want, lol. I say rebuild for force-fed power if you've got the money and the time.

Turbo is much cheaper and more satisfying. It will be very rewarding after it's all said and done.

uhh just a little advice to avoid playing with the turbo every other day.......BUY QUALITY PARTS. atleast for the most part. i would reccomend getting good mani, WG, charge pipeing, threaded couplers, and good t-bolt clamps(right now the pipeing, couplers and t-bolt clamps are giveing me a hard time because they are all cheap and so i keep on haveing to buy good t-bolts or better couplers because the **** keeps on blowing off and then i am like powerless and i know when i get home that i am going to have to get under the car again). get a good oil restrictor, and oil line or oil line kit and be sure to use teflon(or you will have annoying oil leaks).

but other than that stuff i have egay blow off valve and turbo and intercooler and all of those are surprisingly doing fine.

where in FL do you live?

Do whatever you want, just make sure to build the motor right and start with a solid foundation.

wait what? are you going into 11th or 12th? ive been saveing since i was like 15 to make my turbo d16 happen and it finally hapened at the beginning of this summer.(17) so it will prob take a while and yeah you are going to want to have your motor built for 350+whp, you have a long way to go and you need to figure everything out still to a.k.a. search. well good luck.

If I had a nickel for every time somebody posted an "NA vs boost" thread I'd be a multi-billionaire.

I wouldn't be driving a civic.
