I have a 01 type r bone stock, put an ob1 ecu on it with a jun chip and car ran fine, only problem was that it was not revving past 7500 rpm. Was trying to figure out wat that could be. So i changed back to the original ecu not to drive but just to see if i had any check engine codes. Now the car wont start. Note the original ecu never started the car due to the fact that someone tried to steal it and messed up the immoblizer. All i get is a ticking sound and that is it, does not even turn over. Need help. I tried different comps nuttin, but they work fine on other cars.

 

If other ECU's work on other cars and not yours, its not the ECU. I would check the ground wires at the thermostat housing.

 

Check the two top left fuses under the hood. First one should be a 10 amp fuse and the second one should be a 7.5 amp fuse.

 

check all fuses first, there aren't many fuses, ecu fuse 15a under hood, just check all of them. are you able to start it with jun chipped ecu?

 

nope nuttin starts the car, the car was driving fine yesterday. I checked all fuses

 

k starts now, but wont hold idle. Checked plugs they were fouled out. Changed plugs now it wont shut off, but it struggles to hold idle.
