Default Hi, new here..buying first car:)

Hi all, im 17 and my friend is selling his 1991 Acura Integra, don't know the details but I know it has 80,000km on the engine and it has been lowered, he said he replaced the windshield because it was cracked, replaced the trunk because it was rusted up and put in new sparkplugs and intake... hes selling it to me for $800CDN... As far as I know he said theres nothing wrong with it it runs and drives perfectly fine, but there has to be problems on a $800 car garrunteed. Here I will post up the pics he sent me, im going to check it out this weekend in person. Thanks for help!

What exactly are u asking us? My .02: for 800 you cant go wrong. Looks good... love flat black cars esp DAs and the JDM amber bumper lights look good too. Have it compression and leakdown tested BEFORE you buy. Check what he did to lower it. He might have just cut the springs (that happened to a friend of mine and it sucked.) But yeah, for 800 sounds good to me. DA love

damn just got some bad news from a friend that talked to the seller a few weeks ago saying that the clutch and tranny soon need to be replaced, he isn't online so I can't ask him about the springs going to ask him about that one, but how much will a new or used clutch and tranny run me for...? I think this is going to scare me away from what I thought was going to be a sweet deal .

Clutch~150ish. You can get a nice brand new Exedy Stage 1 Organic (what i run) for around that. OEM pedal feel but a better torque holding capacity in case u decide to mod it down the road

Tranny~150-250 Alot of people are selling LS trannys on here in good condition for a good price. No worries for either. Search the for sale thread. Tons of ****.

very good car for 800$. registered and everything also? You can use that car and turn it into a project car. It is great for 800, id go for it. And if it needs new tranny you should look into a b16 tranny

Default I baught the car today:)

K, well I got the car :D.. it seems that it needs a clutch replacement soon and everything else is perfect! Thats around 200-300 I hope, installation prolly 50bucks, im guessing 300-400 to get it perfect running condition.. I mean its still drivable me and my friend where just out for a lil cruise and he says the motor pulls hard and everything is fine except the clutch needs replacement soon... Well here some new pics by the way my friend said its a b18B non-vtec...
