modded Vtec Solenoid?!??!!?!? a lil help please

on the vtec soleniod how there is the three 10mm botls... if you take them off and pull the solenoid apart and there is

a lilttle spacer where the oil passes through. is it a good thing to take it out? or should i leave it?

its probably best to leave it.

Im not 100% sure, but its probably detecting oil pressure through that little spacer. If you dont have oil going through, it wont detect pressure. which= no vtec.

Leave the solenoid the way it is. Modifying it is not going to improve anything.

forget modding it, just buy a ported vtec solenoid
