Default Installing a DVD player in a minivan

We are looking at a new minivan. Factory or dealer installed are like $1,500. Local shops (Best Buy) can get it done for less than $800.

What are the pros and cons of the two choices? Cost is one thing. What about the installation part? Does aftermarket installation do a good of a job as factory (or dealer)?

if there isnt one already in there, then your prolly still not gonna get an oem one. if you have the dealer do it, they will send it to a shop of there choice to have it put in. then they will mark it up and rape you in the process. ive been working at shops that do all the dealer work in my area for the past 8 years and thats how all the dealers here do it. you might as well find out where the dealer takes it and take it there your self or go on and take it to best buy. unless the van your looking at is already loaded with the screen then its prolly not gonna be oem. good luck.
