Sad Day, ITR Gone (stolen)
Taken at 3:54am from in front of my house. They had to smash the window to get in. I have a Lo-Jack Early Warning which is how I know at what time it was taken.
I filed the police report shortly after. Cops don't seem to care enough to even try to catch the criminals. Hopefully they decide to search for it today.
There's a list of things wrong with the car, tranny, motor, frame just to begin with.
If my parts to get striped and sold the joke is on whom ever buys it. It's going to take more money to fix then to buy hot off the street.
It's FBP #00-0744
I hope they find the guys
I'll post any updates as soon as I get them.
UPDATE: Car was found in good shape.
Only thing missing was the ECU which was obd1 converted. I still have the original. They broke my window(driver side)
There's a bit of body damage, but other that all in one piece. I need a new ignition.
It was found in the back of an abandon home. The neighbor came out and spooked then away before they were able to take anything of value. Thank god for that.
Turns out the home belong to the father of a sheriff. Soon as they got there it was pretty much reported. Bad communication between stations is why it took so long to notify me my car was found. Either way, it's sitting in a safe spot right now. The repairs will begin Monday.
Here are some pics of the recovery.
The glass

Ignition

Dumb **** left his shirt. Cop said he will have dna taken from it. Hopefully something turns up.

sitting around waiting for the cop to finish his thing.

If I was careless I wouldn't have put a Lojack in the first place.
Maybe you haven't got it yet, but if someone wants the car bad enough they'll find a way to steal it.
I've been calling the police department trying to get them to hurry up and locate it before it's 100% striped.
I even told them that there's a good change they can catch the guys if they just went to look for it then, but it's only an Acura to the police.

I was just saying, even if you had a few seconds for an audible alarm to sound maybe it would have woke you up.....
lo-jack can't find where it's located right now via gps? isn't that what it's suppose to do?
