Would the Hondata S300 be compatible with an automatic 92 H23?
I've checked their website but theres no info on it. I know the reflashes are only for the manual transmissions but they don't specify for the S300 setup.

Hondata doesn't support auto ecu's.
I believe Uberdata can run auto ecu's though. That's probably your only option, short of converting over to manual and run the traditional setups.

well that's a waste. If he wants power, hes gonna have to go manual sooner or later.

if he makes enough power and can get a high enough stall converter, being auto wont hurt him and could potentially make him faster than a manual tranny.

You don't have to knock others for what they want to do with their cars.
No wonder you're @ 98%.

not knocking him, but just saying that prelude auto tranny's suck *** and everybody knows that. Theres a reason why hondata doesn't work with autos

yeah that reason is they don't consider it to be a big enough market to spend time and money in the research of that function yet. Maybe hes letting the auto die out before he does a manual swap, maybe he lost a leg in war and can't drive with a clutch, maybe hes just wants a tad more power with his car but not want the trouble of driving manual because of hills or such in his city.
It's true the auto trannys in 5th gens do suck and die out pretty fast, but you dont have to bash the guy let the man tune his auto. I turbo'd an automatic saturn, that was a fun *** car, different strokes for different folk.
