just bought a 90 integra...AUTOMATIC......sometimes the car doesnt wanna go....when i step on the gas it doesnt want to go...it runs slowlyyyyyy then after a while it'll go back to normal....i drove it all the way home in the freeway without it slowing down on me lol.....when i bought it the lady said to change something in the manifold...idle some ****...but i doubt its just that.....anyone had this problem before and know what it is?...

 

I am not sure exactly what you mean by running slowly. Does it hesitate, make any popping sounds, etc.?

 

it runs good sometimes...then it just starts going slow for no reason...its like a rolling shell when this happens....

 

Is it gettin Really hot? and then when u let it cool down it gets better?

 

sounds like it is bogging. how much miles on the motor? done a tune up?

 

210k on it...havnt done a tune up yet..it looks normal to me.....oh yeah and yesturday when it slowed down on me....i stepped on the gas...and white smoke was comming out from the engine ....i dont know if it needs a new head gasket because i drove it today but no white smoke.....ill probably try and get a tune up when i get the chance....
