Help with 90 Integra GS Please!!!
Hey Honda-Tech,
I Own a 90 integra Gs, Everything on the car is completely stock so it has the b18a inside. The car recently started losing alot of power when accelerating. Now when the car idles I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. Alos when I accelerate It jerks alot.. It makes me feel like im trying to take off in 5th gear. It does through the rpm range randomly. I can be on the highway doing 60MPH and it wall jerk and then ride smoothe then jerk and ride smoothe. I have replaced the plugs wires distributor. It runs alot better but is still stalling and jerking me around inside the car. A mechanic said it was the IACV but im pretty sure hes wrong because he said it was easy to fix but he wanted nothing to do with the car. I put a dollar bill over my tail pipe and when it boged it nearly sucked the dollar bill into the engine. Im thinking it is a burnt exhaust valve but before I get started I was wondering if the IACV was a possibility. The car only has 128,000 miles on it and it is the four door. Any input would be great.

My dstributor went out... replacing that when the part arrives and there is oil all over my spark plugs.. I assume my headgasket is blown or something worse inside the engine
