Gsr? Ls? or Ls vtec?
Planning on doing engine swap, but which is more realiable? i might even turbo it or just leave it. I mean i heard u have to do alot for ls vtec, but also its worth it cause ls vtec turbo is hella fast or just stick to gsr? idk any suggestions?

LS(B18b1) for reliability, price and future plans for turbo.
GSR - $3500 for 170-180hp
B18b1 - $500-800(complete) With 2.7k-3 to spend on turbo + build(250-300whp)... hmmm
Please do some research though. How many more threads will we see based upon general questions without any sort of whp goals, useage, and overall available price to spend??

What would the engine have to do with turbo lag?
More like the turbo trim and type determines the lag factor. Newer turbos don't even have lag like some of the older turbos do.

my sentiments exactly, if I was going turbo, i'd just get an LS, and boost the crap out of it. Leave the engine alone as long as it's in good condition.

all motor - GSR
plans for having any money at all after the bone stock swap - LS
Just get the LS, GSR's are good, but overpriced if you want to do anything to them.
LS/VTEC is just 50/50 dependable, and not recommendable if you've got the money for a GSR swap anyway.

The more important question is which tastes better, Wendy's new Baconator or Arby's classic curly fries?

That's why I just plain try to stay out of these threads anymore. They get me in trouble more often than not.
