water in floor
hey i have a 94 accord ex 4dr and i have water in the floorboard, im told its a clogged ac drain, if thats what it is how do i go about fixing it, and it only does it with the ac on so i know it has something to do with that any help would be great thanks
on the passenger side of the engine compartment just behind the rear sub frame there is a black drain tube. Blast some compressed air into it that will clear the drain until all the crud comes back down and plugs it up again.
The real fix is to evacuate the A/C, remove the evaporator case/core..open it up and clean out all the trash.
We used to get paid 3 hours flatrate for that wonderful experience.
But now Honda would probably only pay 1.5 or less; gotta keep their JD Powers "low main't cost" ratings good while starving the techs out of business.
