maybe because you have a bad tranny? changing the linkage has nothing to due with the gears popping out.

IMO, b-series trannies are hard to find, atleast for me. i would check

ebay
HT classifieds
http://www.gearspeedinc.com/home.htm

as for a performance tranny, there is none that i am aware of, but there is performance gears and final drives. you can always pick them up and rebuild the tranny.

hmmmmm.. well besides honda not making any performance trannys, that just sounds expensive... what do u honestly need a performance tranny for..?? rebuild the one you own now, or pay someone to rebuild it, an that will work just fine... unless ur planning on like over 500hp a stock tranny "working perfectly" will hold up just fine... "i've only seen about 8000 hondas with stock trannys pullin out some sick *** numbers" haha...
