ARM REST on doors crinkle???

Default ARM REST on doors crinkle???

on my gsr with black interior on the arm rests part they seem to get like a crinkle line in them and i have seen this happen to other black interiors can someone tell my why this happens and if possible how to fix it ???

Don't know what causes it but my black interior teg is doing the same thing. Just pretend it isn't there. .... nope that didn't work it's still there

I have seen those crinkles on older Integras. I guess it is common.

Try a blow dryer. Heat the crinkled area up a little and try and straighten it out. Let me know if it works.

If there is a crinkle in your door panel the plastic piece supporting the elbow rest on the door panel may be broken or cracked. I've had mine crack and wrinkled. HTH

i have this problem too i justed took the door panels off and taped it where it was broken chicano fix

this happens on litterally every del sol there is. look into it on a del sol forum/club. see what kinda options you have

cracked support, same happend to me, take out the door panel, fix it, blow dry a little to flatten and it should stick.

i tryed the hair dryer thing only for lke couple min and if you get it heated up enough just get something to hold it down i got a section of it out i have to play with it some more

haha, mine has been doing this also recently. I have a wrinkle and it pops when I set my boney elbow on it...not gonna fix it though.

What year is your GSR? Is it still under warranty?

The same problem happened to my 96 GSR. It happened around 97, and I remember that quite a few other integras had the same problem. I took the car back to the dealership and they fixed it under warranty. If your car is still under warranty, try going to the dealer and see if they'll do it under warranty. HTH

It usually happens when a car is hit in the side and the door bends. Ususlly it does not get replaced but the bend is still there..
