How do I get the check engine lite to blink, so I can find out what code?

Just got back from my Ocean City trip, and on the way home I noticed my check engine lite on. How do I get the check engine lite to blink, so I can find out what code?

Look under the glove compartment. See a green rubber box. Pull it alittle and take a paper clip to connect the two metal slots. Use tape to hold this in place. Then turn the key to the on position, watch the CEL light blink.

Slow blinks, then fast ones

For ex. Blink........blink..... pause......blink..blink..blink = code 23

on the far right near your glove box youll find a two wire blue plug, get a wire or paperclip and insert it in there and when you turn your ignition on it will show you the code. count them then come back here

Code 23 is long-long-short-short-short.
