Default ES bushings help please!!

I am in the process of doing my front control arms and this sucks bad. 2 hours to press 4 bushings. My question is I couldn't get the bushings in without slicing around the bushing at an angle so it slides in a bit easier. Is this a bad thing because I couldn't do it any other way(and yes I used the grease it came with and a 3 ton machine press.) Also, the sleeves it came with were too small for my factory bolt. Am I supposed to use the original sleeves?

did you double check to see that you got the correct bushings? sounds like you might have received some wrong parts for your car. if they can't be installed with a 3 ton press, something is wrong.

Yeah it sounds like you have the wrong kit or they included the wrong bushings and sleeves. I'd compare the part numbers. I remember when I was installing my ES motor mount inserts the rear mount bushing was wrong and I had to modify it to fit.
