Default Snapped Timing belt

I have a 93 jdm h22 in my accord i'm curious to see what does "bent valves" actually sound like? When i try to start it up it sounds like the piston is trying to raise up but it doesn't have any compression in one cylinder. Or it could be the valves hitting the pistion?
