Default what seems most efficient?????

im just wondering what you guys think i want to hear some opinions. just daily driving, nothing hard, is it more efficient to keep rpm's low and have to use more throttle or keep rpm's higher so you don't have to use as much throttle? i've always wondered how other people drive.... for instance i can cruise at 55 in 4th and be at like 3300 or so, or i could cruise in 5th at like 2000ish but will feel more sluggish and need more throttle to accelerate than in 4th gear obviously.. what do you guys do..

i belive the integras gas useage is almost completley dependant on throttle position. so yeah higher rpms but less throttle would propably be better, but i think its a little harder on the engine.

actually all cars gas mileage depend on throttle position.

on the throttle - using gas.
off the throttle (even if at 7000 rpm) - not using any gas.

it may be harder on the engine, but if you take good care of your car and dont drive like a retarded monkey, your engine will be fine.

WOT is best for efficiency. Almost WOT is best for Integra ECUs because they stay in closed loop mode.

Hmmmm.. this is very helpful, Ive been trying to save gas, and so im in 5th gear most of the time, has plenty of power, but would it really be better to be in 4th???
