driving an em1 is like driving a v6 camaro underpowered and not fun
save up and do a little more than a b16 in a 95 integra because you might be slower

I've driven an EM1 and its horrible. Plus a DC2/DC4 is still heavier than an EM1 is

if you do that swap you're going to regret it.. low torque to carry your DC4 or DC2..!!..try to get a 1.8 block and swap it over...

only by around 50lbs. its not going to be noticable.

of course i would recommend even a b18b swap if not a b18c over a b16 but people make it sound like its not going to move. there are people with sohc integras in other parts of the world so i think at least a b16 is better than that. ive driven a Scion XB and that thing makes like 85whp and it was SLOOW but still somewhat bearable.

I rode in a b16 powered DA9 and I was severly disappointed. No torque. Nothing at all til 6K. Even then, it felt a good bit slower than my old DA which was completely stock. After that ride, i felt sooo good knowing i will soon have a B18C under the hood. Get a 1.8 or bigger. B16's are meant for CRX's and EG's. Someone here needs to redefine slow. EM1=Slow. B16 in anything more than 2300lbs=slow.

And maybe his dc weighs 2100 lbs.
Either way it is still a honda with a stock motor.
In other words, it will still be slow.

Edit: OP, I'll pm you some useful info.

well first of all 13.9 is not fast. and WOW he beat a stock Z28. a few mods to that Z28 and its a lot deeper in 13s than 13.9.

I'd say a little 4 banger running a 13.9 stock is pretty solid.

i mean of course its impressive for just a stock 4 banger in a civic but it still took over $5k in mods to get it there. thats what makes it not so impressive.

You can get an h22 for alot less than 5k... but anyways, I see your point.... But for the most part, Imports are much nicer, longer lasting, solid cars, compared to say a z28..... I have a 95 gsr, my friend has a 94 z28, and obviously his is faster, but I wouldnt trade my teggy for it, no way.. my car drives, looks, everything about it is nicer than the camaro.. thats why im ok with the fact imports cost so much more.. everything is better.

coming from a former z28 owner (95 lt1) They are easier to make faster but imports are ways more fun to drive and have.
