i am really considering getting doing a k24 swap in my '00 coupe. through my work i can get anything and everything i need as far as an oem build goes. but there are 4 different vehicles i can get this from and i need help choosing.
prices are for longblock

05 crv k24a1 (built in england) $900 (BUILT IN JAPAN) $1100 -whats the difference
05 element $625-700
05 accord $600
05 tsx k24a2 $2000

obviously the tsx makes more hp, but why is it so much more $$$?

is there one that is easier to work with? and is there any real difference between them, besides the tsx of course?

 

if your gonna leave it stock, get the tsx for obvious reasons. if you plan to spend money down the road to build the motor, get the crv.

 

and is there any difference between the the one built in japan & the one built in england? they are both from usdm cars,

 

that i couldn't tell you...but it shouldn't be that different. just tearing apart my crv im building right now and the head is beautiful...lots of potential to flow big numbers!
