Default b16a wiring questions

alright so i got a good deal on an obd0 b16a longblock. i was planning on just converting the entire motor to obd1 in order to install it into my 93 civic cx hatch. i already bought a new obd1 distributor and some obd1 injectors. i figured i could buy the p30 ecu, obd1 vtec wiring haraness, and the other little things and be set. then i was told that the obd0 b16s dont have knock sensors, so i would have an unused plug and get a code right? plus be in limp mode. i want this thing to run like stock. whenever i search for this i see people getting the obd1 distributor and ecu. then using the obd0 harness and getting a conversion harness to run the p30 ecu. sure no unused plugs, but wouldnt the ecu still look for a knock sensor and then i would get a code in return? any help is appreciated.
thanks a lot

you can run it obd1. like you say, you need dist., injectors, and ecu of obd1 type. not sure though if there was anything else. but i'm positive you're on the path, for what it's worth.

i'm guessing that's optional. i don't remember hearing that as a must for the conversion. try searching for obd0 obd1 conversion. i've seen many posts on this. i know there's step by step info out there. if you can't find it here, try hondaswap.com. i use that site alot, and there's alot of that kind of info on there.
