Ok, so several months ago I heard from some guys that a JDM B16 can be bar'd in an eg is you use a USDM ecu and of course the motor has to be the same year as the car or newer etc etc. Now the problem is I don't know if that is true. To my knowledge the only motors that can be bar'd are usdm motors.

I already searched this topic and couldn't find anything. So if your gonna reply telling me to search and stop being a noob, please don't waste your time. That stuff gets old.

EDIT: That probably didn't do you any good at all. Anywho, all you need is an engine from a same year car, or newer, all the smog components and whatnot. ie: Evap, EGR (?), Cat, O2 sensor, etc.

I'm sure if you look harder you'll find what you're looking for on this site.
