Or you could wire it up with a switch. Its really easy. PM me if youd like to know how.

yeah a switch would be the best way to do it.

Best way. Also you should wire it up so it operates normally still, but you could kick it on sooner manually with the switch so you don't have to worry about forgeting to turn it on or off.

Or get a mugen fan switch so it kicks on at a cooler degree. Also get a mugen thermostat.

Best 80.00 I spent.

The only way to go. The fan switch in the cabin is a good idea, but for myself I could only do it if it was a clean/non-ghetto install/look.

Mugen thermoswitch/thermostat FTW!

thanks for the replies, thought about mugen/spoon switch but kicks in very low

(do these require mugen/spoon thermostat as well to work ?)

my car is 99% daily driver but does get kinda hot quickly on regular hard blasts (n/a ek4 but running approx 40bhp above stock)

will be doing odd track day as well when ill defo need better cooling

im 99% sure that gonna go with uprated rad but wouldnt mind a switch in cabin for the fan, is there any compnay that sells an of the shelf kit that i could install in cabin

disconnect the coolant fan switch the one near the thermostat....unplug ur cooling fan relay the one inside the fuse box...unhook the fan connector near the fan...get one male connect, 2 female connector, a connector with a hole and 12 gauge wires....ground the connector that goes to the fan to the frame using the existing bolt that somewhere around the front end....should be the left one....take the right one ...connect that to the relay which turn on when the ignition on and power off when ignition is remove....should be the lower right pin...if your relay has 4 pin... if you need to clarify this hit me up
