Check engine light came on today for first time. Car is behaving perfectly fine.

Is there any way to pull the code to see what caused it to come on, other than bringing it to a stealership?

go to a local autozone store and they will check the computer on ur car for free, i do it all the time

 

we dont have an autozone here

I live in Newfoundland Canada, only Autoplace we have is NAPA and im pretty sure they dont do that.

Didn't know if there was a jumper setting or anythig to flash or blink the code like on some of the civics / integras.
