cant see your pic but I guarantee tha 3m adhesive remover works wonders.
I used it to remove the gunk left behind the pinstripes I had and it came out clean very easily. I personally would recommend rinsing it with water afterwards as a precaution. I used the stuff a long time ago and my paint is still clean and intact
Good luck!!

gas will work but you have to be careful, also i work at a Mazda dealership and we have some stuff called actrisole (probably spelled that wrong) and it works wonders on anything and is safe for the paint i suggest go to a car dealer near you and ask them for a good all purpose gunk remover b/c they will have the best stuff out there. best of luck
A hair dryer will help you a lot with this stuff. I've messed with it before and it's a real pain in the ***.
The hair dryer will make it easier to remove along with an adhesive remover.
If you have some stuff that really refuses to come off, use brake CLEANER. NOT fluid. Brake cleaner should not harm the clearcoat of your paint. I've used brake cleaner on lots of cars without a problem. If you're worried, keep a hose nearby to spray the area down if needed.

Wash the car, then clay bar it and polish it. That should get any residue off. After that put on a coat of wax to protect the paint.

Home depot has it I think.
Not that NOFX is wrong, but I really dig the 3m.

How would what you say even disagree with what I said? I only said adhesive remover. I didn't name a brand.
Btw, no clue what you mean by "steaks". Maybe you mean streaks?
Either way though, it shouldn't be an issue since you should polish and wax afterwards.

No problem. If anyone can suggest better ways to do something, say it.
I do have a photo of myself spraying brake cleaner on the trunk of an Audi (in front of the owner). I took it after people kept being afraid to use it on their paint, since I assume they were mixing brake cleaner up with brake fluid.
If brake cleaner were that harmful to paint, I don't think it'd be a good idea to sell it in aerosol cans!
