my local shop dude was trying to sell me some hamp oil filter
but there are 2 size that he's got

so i'm wondering are there any difference is the size of the oil filter?

 

which shop in NYC carries hamp oil fiters?
btw...the small one will increase your oil pressure
the large one will filter better

I don't think it so much raises your oil pressure as it reduces the total changes in pressure while going in and out of VTEC...

 

so what does that do anyways?

 

It supposedly would help you stay away from oil starvation problems like wiped bearings!! I'm just goin w/ the regulars from now on. At least I won't hafta change them as often when I hafta rebuild again...

My mechanics said their fit wasn't that good...he fear that they will be "bumped" out if I drive roughly. Oh well, I still have 4 more small ones left.
