Default Car Won't start 95 civic

I have a '95 civic and it won't start. There is power, my oil and battery light and my ignition will click but it won't start.I got it started the day before and it made a wierd sputtering noise but then clicked over and started up and ran fine. Any ideas?

i would start with the obvious and check for fuel and spark. also make shure you have a good battery might just be a dead battery(or starter) if all it does is click

battery is good because the lights are turn on and doesn't fade plus it wont start when i try to jump start it. It has fuel and i changed my spark plugs about 4months ago

there could be so many things you need to explain your symptoms better... you could try checking your distributer cap and rotor

That sounds like a bad starter, which is where i would start...I dont think it's your rotor because the motor would at least be attempting to turn over.

If it only makes a clicking sound it sounds like a starter issue. Borrow a friends if possible and see if she starts up

thanks guys, it was the starter. The ground wire that connects to it was severed and i replaced it so it runs good.
