So I dropped my 06 ninja 3 weeks ago. I brought it home and parked it because fairing was broken and handle bar was bended. It was running that night. I have gas but I think im not getting spark. I borrowed my friends charger to charge up the battery. Still, it only cranks. I pulled one of the spark plug wires and tried to place it near a ground to see if it sparked, it didnt. If dont know much about bikes but I am a mechanically knowledgeable. If you tell me some steps I can walk them with no problem. Thx for reading and thx for the help.

 

I had the same problem with my 250. Change out your plugs first (cheapest thing you can do) it should honestly start right up.

 

Best advice to give anyone when you cannot physically be there....

Start with the cheapest thing to replace and work your way up.

What was the solution?

 

my carb bowls were empty, whatever that means. I read it here in pg 67 under "My bike has been sitting for a while, and I cant get it started".
