ITR Brake Booster in an EG/EJ civic?
I want to buy a itr brake booster for my ej coupe but was wondering what other things ill need to change. will it just bolt right on? i know i need to change each wheel's individual brake line but what else, especially under the hood.
and another question. how much better is jdm vs usdm? '97 spec vs '01 spec? i was searching around and '01 specs are obviously more expencive, but for a good reason?
-Thanks

^^ a quick search or a trip to the FAQ sticky at the top would have brought you to this

follow everything in the link that was provided. but, i might add that if you still have drums in the rear and 9" rotors in the front, your just wasting your time and money swapping out M/C and the B/B.

is swapping bb/mc's just about switching it? seems simple enough.</TD></TR></TABLE>
it is pretty simple, but the problem doesn't lie in the swap. swapping the M/C and B/B from the dingy civic to the beefy integra is not going to give you any brake performance, only a very stiff pedal.

im guessing because the rotars and drums will still be the same? which means the amount of braking power is still limited to only so powerful? wouldn't a bigger drum = squeezing tighter? which would mean slowing down more?

what? bigger drums? you know the itr doesn't have drums. where are you going to get bigger drums from?
i think you need to do some research. here i'll help you out:

Dude i've done this search before and haven't found anything.. your search results are about motor swaps and how to prevent your car from being stolen.
and about the drum thing, i am quite sure ITRs dont have drums im just saying. if i simply swap a itr bb into a civic wont the brakebooster send more pressure through the brake lines pushing the BRAKE PADS harder onto the rotors giving it more stopping power? does that clear it up?

If you use the larger itr crap on dinky civic calipers, youre only going to lock the wheels...and lose stopping "power"
Youre looking at brake upgrades in the wrong way...
Do NOT change the mc/bb unless you swap on 57mm piston (integra) calipers or greater.........
(holy crap...months old topic bump!)

sorry about the month old bumps. ahah so how bad will it be? i dont understand what difference would larger calipers make? they're both just stoping the same wheel right?
