Default Tuning

Is there anyone on here that tuned their engine by their self using Hondata or Crome? If so how hard was it? Which would you recommend? Thanks

I like crome, just did a tune on that, uberdata before that. I don't have any experience with hondatat, but i would imagine it's better then the free ware for obvious reasons. However, crome in my opinion is top notch.

Yea i was reading about it, but i heard that sometimes when you use crome its hard to get the idle right. So thats why i was leaning more towards hondata.

Crome is very easy to understand as long as you have an idea of what the numbers in the tables are suppposed to represent. I started off with crome because it was cheap and allowed for east DIY tuning. I have since moved onto Neptune which i must say is a nicer program as long as you have it tsetup correctly. Hondata is a great system but i believe it is a little complex for a beginner.

They're both reallllly good. But unless you know what you are doing, like REALLY know what you are doing, get it professionally done!
