Tein > Megan (at least from what I've read), but Teins could cost more than 1k unless it's Tein Basics.

i think the tein ss are the way to go but i also think there a wee bit more than a grand like $1200 I knew a few people that had them and like them but never had them for more than a year (due to selling of car) as far as the megans go i have no clue

My concern w/ tein is...
Tein basic do not have adjustable dampers... I live in atlanta and it seems every street i drive down is under construction. Are the Basics really bouncy?? soft?? stiff??

I can get the SS for a good price on ProCivic.com and they are affordable but are they worth getting over the basics for everyday street use and an occasional mountain run??

the basics are bouncier then stock. i definitely have to watch out for construction bumps cuz we have lots of construction here in Grand Junction too. ive never had any other coilovers so its hard to compare them with another brand. i think for the money they are good tho.

I think you just get more adjustabliaty with the ss over the basics. I'm going with ss becuase you can get the edfc or whatever its called and adjust the stiffness of them on the go

Now i can get Front/Rear Strut bars. or HID kit

I see that you have already bought them but, I have been running megan's for about a year and a half now. About 15 autox's and a track day, plus a winter with them on and the rears are just starting to leak. Other than that I have had now problem whatso ever with them, very quality product. Now I just need to find out if I can get them rebuilt over this winter.
