I am kind of undecided on what i want to do... i want to turbo, but its expensive and all, so i may just stay n/a. i know that OBX makes this style header for turbo kits, but I was not n/a... anyway, i just really like how that style looks on type Rs.

^ Haha.

So you just want a crazy looking header? Get an RMF Narrow or something.

I never really understood this argument. I believe what you're actually saying is that you want to stay relatively stock, since building a high-performance N/A setup can cost just as much as a turbo setup. "N/A" does not equal "cheap".

"Equal length" headers for domestic usually get the swirly tube design that I think this guy is talking about, but I don't recall seeing one for Hondas, probably due to clearance issues.

....c'mon guys, its a legitimate question. Yes there are headers in the style that you speak of. They aren't ramhorn (like a turbo manifold) in my opinion, but I think they are exactly what you're looking for. Guys with DART blocks run them, due to the increased deck height of the block.

I'm gonna find a link to a web site for you:

ANR makes a race header that looks like something you are after. Granted, if you're not built to the nuts, you aren't gonna get anything out of this header but a lighter wallet and good looks under the hood. Be warned.

I swiped these images off HT here, so they are floating around if you use the search.

well i know for a FACT i've seen one for a B18, don't know who made it, but its on the "Magic of VTEC Tuning" feature on one of the BMI DVD's. some guy thats an ITR with Toda ITB's, VTEC killer cams etc. and had a big ram-horn looking manifold.

the guys asked him whether that lost him torque, he said "but it looks good."

turns out the thing was gutless below 6,500rpm because of the manifold, but up top it was really strong.

guess it depends what your priorities are

thing is, Hondas are already gutless down low, and make power up top. If I built for N/A, I'd want to get more out of the low end.

I suppose that when all you do is race your car, it's a good thing. (like the VTEC killers) but I figure if you're only getting it for showing it off, then it really doesn't matter either way, eh? I'll stick with my HyTech thank you very much. Not much to look at (if you don't know what to look for) but works AWESOME!

Thanks for all the input. I just want something cool looking for shows that won't reduce the performance of my car, I dont even care if it does nothing performance wise. I appreciate it!

so basically your car is stock and when you pop the hood open all you see is the "ram" header?..wow, just imagine the picture of what it would look like... btw, i got a BRAND NEW HEADER for sale...imagine this: went to car show, pop the hood and a Brand Spanking New Header sitting there!! ...

A Bisimoto header is what you're looking for if you want an over the top appearance. Get it in polished.
