Proud new owner of a Fiji coupe!
Purchased @ Manly Honda in Santa Rosa, CA from Paul Ciardello. I highly recommend going through him, awesome guy to deal with, and he's an enthusiast too, not some shark just after a sale. He gave me a great price and kept me up to date throughout the deal. Worth the 540 mile drive and the 2 month wait.
I picked it up Saturday, drove it down from Santa Rosa to San Diego on Sunday. Trip took over 14 hrs with multiple stops for pics, and by the time we got home she already had 706 miles. The drive down the coast was beautiful to say the least. And if it wasn't for the countless idiots who couldn't drive to save their lives, I recommend it to everyone.
Here are a few shots. The first is shot on the way to Stinson Beach, the second is the NorCal coast from the 1 about an hour south of San Francisco. Both were taken by user Shakes.

congrats man.
im curious, though, cuz i thought it was bad to drive a brand new car for such a long distance at once? something about a sustained RPM range is bad for breaking in the motor?

As long as the RPMs change its OK. Thats why I wouldnt use cruise(even though it does change on hilly roads) the first thousand miles i had the car.
Congrats on the new car, its the best color out there

Exactly, from San Fran we took the 1 to the 101 which was 90% hills and coast line roads, perfect for a brake in as it had varying elevations where I could vary engine loads and rpms, and break it it. Only bad part is that since it was Sunday, so ALL the tourists were enjoying the scenery, which is fine but most were going below the speed limit making it very frustrating at times. We weren't at freeway speeds for more than a half hour at a time till we got to LA, at which point the car had 500 miles, and even then I varied the speed and engine load all the time.
Francis: I haven't pushed the car yet, but so far it feel as balanced an neutral as the prelude. I doubt it will rotate as much when I get on the gas mid-corner, but the lude had rates of 400F/450R so that makes sense. I feel like it also has a higher center of gravity judging by the weight transfer, which I'm sure it does since the prelude was dropped a bit and low to begin with, but it still has minimal body roll. Overall I'm really impressed with it. You figure the prelude was $27K brand new 10 years ago, and the Si is better it most aspects overall for $22K - thats what I call progress Honda style. Have you test driven it yet?

I've driven a friend's si numerous times and for the price I feel it cant be beat. However, the I cant get over the "spaceship looking dash" and the fact that it delivers little feedback when driving fast (I guess the older cars were better in this respect). I'll have to think about it over the next two weeks. My friends car had the Michelin summer tires BTW.

That's pretty sweet piotrush, and funny to. I know that drive very well I'm from the bay (live in diego now) and I've made it a few times. Nice pictures by the way.

Indeed he is. How have you been Paul? My cousin in CT wants to get a fiji coupe as well now. I might have to hit you up later for some tips on how to deal with dealers
I told her just to buy it from you but she wasn't too keen on the 3300 mile drive back home.
g00kster: sorry I don't have a big one, hit up user shakes, they're his pics, he might have one he can send you.
I'll put up some more if I get a chance later.

oh btw your car is so MANLY
