due to circumstances i wont go into i wound up with 2 radar detectors, an Escort Passport 8500 X50, and a Beltronics Pro RX65. ive read great reviews about both but i want to run both side by side on a road trip im taking and see which picks up signals first. would they interfere with eachother if i have them both on my dash, running at the same time?

 

They may.... Try it around town before you leave though...

Side note... I wonder if you went to a state where detectors are illegal, would you get two tickets???

 

ive heard theyre illegal in virginia, D.C. and parts of cali... ill take em off the dash and unplug if i go through those areas.

 

they might interfere with each other, but to make sure go on http://www.radardetector.net/ and ask around..

most people don't recommend running two because of the interference...

no but if you goto canadia and get caught you will loose 2 radar detectors
