Well I am looking to get a 2006 RSX, automatic (mom will be driving it too)

Does all automatic RSX come with Tiptronic?

What are things I should be looking for when I go to check it out?

Any problems that the RSX are known for?

If there is anything else I should be looking for please let me know. THANKS

What do you mean 3rd gear sucks? Are you talking about manual and /or automatic?

Automatic is 100%. She can drive manual but wouldn't like her driving manual in the winter. Live in Canada

that's only a common problem with the sticks

 

sorry I forgot you were talking about an automatic, so forget what I said about 3rd gear....my bad

look at the engine bay, if its maintained well

if not, the owner probably doesnt know how to keep a car

that aint right... engine bays can be cleaned and still be about to blow up. test drive it...u should be able to tell if sumthing aint right good luck

 

Look at the paint REAL close, any orange peel or wavy spots could mean a wreck, look at the doors, hatch,hood, headlights ect. to see if there is any gaps that are not consistant. also look at the wheels if there is any curbage have the place do an alignment check on it. See if you can contact the last owner. hope that helps

 

Well from what am hearing, sounds like there isnt any specific problems wrong with them.

Its now fully painted Championship White , and boosted, its JUST DOESNT START You can find that tread in the integra section LOL

 

i suggest also looking at the engine mount to make sure they arent worn out for what ever reason ... also check the rims to see if they may be bent on the inside from driving over pot holes ... as far as the interior check the inside door panel for the original color of the car and make sure the srs still works ... that about the basic ... everyone else covered looking at the engine so yea just make sure the car doesnt look worn out in places that you know are need for smooth driving ...

ohh yea and check all the places the vin# is located to make sure all parts belong to the car ...
