hey guys, this is the GF of crx_si-r. i'm using my boy's username to learn alittle more about what can be done to 89-90 crx automatic he just bought for me. i tried stick.. and things weren't workin out too well. but i want to turn my ride into economic, but powerful when i need to step up. pretty much stock as of now.. but i need ideas on what do to. let me kno..

thats almost exactly what I'm doing to my crx minus the cf hood

#1. Do the suspension FIRST. It is the #1 thing you can appreciate. Along with tires/wheels

#2. Forget the hood, seats, intake etc. Start saving for a vtec head swap, or complete swap.

#3. Once the cars running good, and the suspension is built, start focusing on the exterior of the car.

 

thats a good list. your car will look very good and even though its a auto with the single cam vtec will have a lot more power. i thought all girls could drive sticks

2 - Why the hell not, remember you are in CA the land of the 10 second car; you put nice shiny things on it and 10 seconds later its gone

the bf says we are in swaping in parts from an auto ex.. to make things easier.. bf has most of the parts already.. i get the experience, spare parts.. and a joy ride at the end..

still..... her BF could post this on his own. or, just explain to her what needs to be done. if he has all of the parts already, why is she posting a new thread?

my EX-GF used to do the same thing all the time..... ask my opinion about her car, and then go behind my back and ask strangers. **** pissed me off and shes gone now.

i say first drop it and get si rims so it can match your BF's car and mine too.. for the paintjob, you should get candy apple red for championship white since your BF doesnt like red or white cars..

 

put in some nawz!!!!

a good nitrous set up will give you what you want. economy and reliability of the d series, and the punch of a well tuned nitrous shot.

if you go with giggle gas, don't cut corners!!

 

hey started the car tune up this weekend.. this is a list of what me and the bf worked on..
engine flush
oil change
new spark plugs
fuel filter
tranny flush
and we also put on the vx rims

next.. we're going to work on the headlight, cleaning the interior, and take off the tinting and giving it a good wash down..
