Nahh, straight-thru muffler would be, just how it sounds. A straight pipe, like Apex-i N1, Tanabe Racing Medallion, 5Zigen Fireball etc.

The mid-resonator is a strait through design, but the rear muffler is not. It is baffled. If you look though the tip in the rear muffler you will see the baffle.

How much horsepower do you think is lost by going with this system? Im debating between a thermal and this. I kinda want a quite system for when people are in the car, but if im going to lose a good amount of hp i would rather go with the thermal.

I went from a Thermal classic to the WS. Mainly because the Thermal was a piece of s""t in my case. I like the WS better anyways.

In my case the Thermal took away alot of low end power and replaced it with some more high end power. Other than that the Thermal was loud as hell, had failing joints, and the packing materials burnt out. After Thermal R&D cust. service gave me the hand job, I bought the WS.

The WS is quieter, brought back some of the low end power with out sacraficing too much top end power. It looks beter IMO, and it has been working problem free for much longer than the Thermal. So really, I can't say you would be loosing any power by going with the WS exhaust.

SLPR.......
