Default jj's civic project thread

dont knwo what happen to my other thread just couldn't find it lol.

well i've been here for a little while. learned alot and now i think it's time to start working on the civic.

she has 337000 miles on here. and she's tired. alxes going no carpet(mold). well i went to nj and pics up a si for $350 with good running motor. tran caprets and non broekn axles. i've been sriving the si around since we got it but i have to put it in the garage to save my dx. the reason why i'm not keep the si is because the rot is too bad to pass inpecstion with. here are sum pics the other red one with my rims on the stand is a parts car i had that i was going to fix till i pulled and need to get rid of it.

No offese to some but I'm soo glad that I live in a state that does not put salt on the roads during the winter. I have seen brand new cars come from the east coast that were soo rusted. Back in 04' I took apart an 03 Accord that was so rusted that 2 bolts broke trying to drop the lower crossmember. Sorry I know it's kinda off topic....

i bought the thing in nj acually but yea i hate the rust up here it just sucks i have a 93 nissian pick up and the motor runs mint but i can't get it inpected because the frame is rust gone. it sucks because i got it for free.

well this last weekend i took the si axles out pulling the si out of the garage my gf's son hit my truck with the civic not much damage i'll try to get a pic of it. i'm putting the axle on now. after the axles are in i will put the si back in the garage and strip it down.


is the susupension differnt in siffness between the si and the dx?
